5 Writers qualify RSPC

Armed with writing pens and determination, five student-writers, together with their coach, Mrs. Gertrudes Donato, of Kapalong National High School bested during the Division Elementary and Secondary Schools Press Conference at Asuncion National High School last November 13-15, 2014.

            In English Categoty, Therese Marie Litob placed 1^st in Feature Writing, Maria Nica Lara won 4^th place in News Writing, and Yzella Ria Menor made it as the 5^th placer in Photojournalism.
            Broadcasters Hexcell Duke Gregas, Aireen Jean Ramos, Caryl Iyns Gentiles, Chriztean Erika Ganiera, Rey Capuno, Jabesh Fe Agayan and Angelie Quindao won 3^rd place in Radio Broadcasting and Script Writing.
            Filipino qualifiers were Erika Mae Asoy and Chriztean Erika Ganiera both placed 1^st in their events Science and Technology, and Photojournalism, respectively.
            English student-writers Agnes Rafols participated in Sports Writing, Graciela Ishraphille Cruda participated in Editorial Writing, Editorial Cartooning represented by Junniel Angteg, and Mitch Dominic Manos participated in Science and Technology.
            Filipino writers Carelle Angela Letada participated in Feature Writing, Sports Writing represented by May Two Shielo Magaway, while Jayvee Bryan Magcamit participated in Editorial Cartooning.
            Top five winners in each event will represent the Division of Davao del Norte for the upcoming Regional Level.
